Key skills required:

·Superb negotiation and face to face communication/interpersonal skills with a persuasive demeanour and “Can Do” attitude.
·Enthusiastic negotiator with the ability to influence and interact at all levels.
·The ideal candidate will be well established in the UK market with at least 2-3 years experience contracting hotels & allocations here.
·Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
·A proactive approach with the passion and drive to deliver the best agreements for ATS.
·Strong commercial acumen and numeracy skills to match.
·Professional fluency in English
·Full and clean UK Driving License: Estimated travel 10-12 weeks per year around England and Scotland.
·Self starter and demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced environment whilst managing multiple projects & tight deadlines.
·Strong computer applications skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).

Summary of Role:

·Working off targeted KPI’s, source suitable new hotel partners for collaboration, contracting best negotiated rates and availability.
·Build & maintain relationships with existing key hotel suppliers including regular performance analysis and monitoring of sales/availability.
·Contracting for series as well as group allocations for city break groups and touring groups.
·Contacting Group Series (Guaranteed Departures) and assisting the Operations Team with space constraints for existing confirmed Groups.
·Assisting/ Dealing with any complaints / overbooking situations where your expertise is required by the Ops Team.
·Assistance to Accounts with regards invoice queries/negotiation on cancellation charges etc.
·New Product Knowledge - keep up to speed on new hotel developments and openings and analyse whether an opportunity exists. Be the first to knock on the door!
·Attendance at Travel-trade Networking Events, FAM Trips and Trade Shows - grow the company name.
